Ansley's Restaurant Recommendations
- City Range Steakhouse - typical steak restaurant- nice atmosphere, good food
- II Samuels Restaurant - they are catering the wedding reception! :-)
- Cribbs Kitchen - one of my favorites for lunch or dinner - good beers too
- Wade's Restaurant - this one is unique to Spartanburg, very southern, collard greens, cornbread, mac & cheese, etc.
- Lime Leaf - excellent Thai restaurant in downtown Spartanburg
- Willy Taco - I've never been here but apparently it made one of the top 10 or 15 restaurants on a list of best restaurants in SC!
- Ike's Korner Grille - I've never been here either. It's out near Lake Bowen and I've heard good things. It's just a burger joint and pretty famous around town. Something you'd see on Diners, Drive Ins & Dives
- Mon Ami Morning Cafe - AMAZING place for brunch!! YOU MUST GO!!!! :-)
- Beacon Drive-In - landmark place for Spartanburg. Apparently there's even a sign in Las Vegas that says x amt of miles to the Beacon lol. Not one of my personal favorites, but you know, when in Rome, you might want to check it out. They are known for their "chili-cheese-a-plenty" if that says anything!
- Venus Pie Pizzeria - great pizza joint in the downtown area. They've been in Spartanburg for a LONG time.
- Rose Cottage & Gardens - I had a bridal shower here. Nice little lunch place.
- The Peddler Steak House - kind of a cool old fashioned steak house. They will bring all the cuts of meat out to your table. It's been around for a long time too. Definitely a more unique place.
- Ice Creams & Coffee Beans - quick place to grab a sandwich or wrap for lunch. If you go you must order their strawberry tea! :-)
- Groucho's Deli of Spartanburg - nothing fancy! Just another quick place to get a sandwich for lunch in downtown Spartanburg!
- Yannis - good italian food, out near Mon Amie's so it is a little farther away from downtown
